Rachel Anisfeld holds a PhD in Rabbinic Literature from the University of Pennsylvania. A writer and Torah educator for thirty years, she has a special interest in the intersection of Torah and the inner work of psycho-spiritual mental health. She is a former resident and continuing fan of the Capital District, and now lives in Atlanta, GA. Check out her new website: Torah and Inner Work.

This session will be a demonstration of a method of reading the Psalms that I think of as resting in its words — taking a very small section of Psalms, usually a single verse or two, and exploring deeply its meaning through meditation, journaling, discussion, and sometimes song. We will work together to explore the depths of one such section, create meaning and connection, and rest together in its words. I look forward to learning and being with you!
