19 February 7:30PM, Handelman Room -Zoom with Gadi Perl, MERCAZ: Some of you may remember Gadi Perl, who visited our synagogue last year to talk about MERCAZ and the World Zionist Congress elections. This year, Gadi will be zooming in with us on the big screen from Israel to discuss the “hardcore” politics of the day, current events in Israel and how they affect us all.
26 February 7:30PM, Handelman Room-Zoom with Zoom with Alex Lederman, Senior Policy and Communications Associate, Israel Policy Forum: In this salon, we will be exploring the West Bank, Judaea and Samaria, and the settlements-from different perspectives historically, politically, and currently. Alex ‘s analysis has been featured in CNN, TIME Magazine, The Hill, The Forward, War on the Rocks and other outlets. He’ll be zooming in to brief us on the big screen.
5 March 7:00PM, Salon in Private Home- location given upon request: Join us for a lively and meaningful conversation with Rabbi Spitzer. He will be wrapping it all up and helping us to make sense of it all – presenting on his trip to Israel for “Leading Across Difference: Equipping Rabbis for Nuanced Community Engagement on Israel”.
