DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming you to the 43rd Annual Carrot Fest
 ival. Here are some of the highlights. You will find more information abou

 Food and Carrot Cake:  All food will be prepared “to go” giving festi
 val-goers the opportunity to just bring their food home with them\, or saf
 ely find a spot on the grounds to enjoy it.  Carrot Cake will also be ava
 ilable to purchase\, because what is a Carrot Festival without our famous 
 carrot cake?\nFarm Fresh Produce:  We are planning to continue last year
 ’s concept of having bags of varieties of produce available for sale\, a
 long with a limited amount of vegetables available “loose.”  Our prod
 uce comes from The Carrot Barn in Schoharie\, just as it has since the ver
 y first Carrot Festival 43 years ago! We invite you to donate a bag when t
 hey buy a bag of farm-fresh vegetables.\nChildren's Activities:  Several 
 organizations from the community will be on hand with fun activities for k
 ids of all ages.  From visits with reptiles to crafts to pony rides to sc
 ience experiments to music\, there will be plenty of fun for everyone.\nCo
 mmunity Service:  We are bringing back our community service area\, where
  local non-profit agencies have the opportunity to set up a table and prom
 ote their services.  In addition\, we are continuing our partnership with
  CDTA to “stuff the bus” that will be parked in the parking lot to be 
 filled with much-needed supplies for five local organizations: Animal Prot
 ective Foundation\, SiCM\, YWCA Women's Shelter\, The RED Bookshelf\, and 
 the Department of Veteran's Affairs.\nVendors and Crafters:  Vendors and 
 crafters will be here selling everything from kitchen supplies to clothing
  to jewelry to toys to pet supplies and more.\nFor more information about
